Strata Owners' Associations
Throughout the Province, associations of strata owners have been formed to provide strata owners and strata corporations with assistance in relation to the operation of their strata corporation.
Strata owners wishing to obtain assistance with the Strata Property Act may therefore wish to contact their local strata association. The following is a list of strata associations throughout the Province:

| Introduction |
Founded as a registered non-profit society in 1973 as the Greater Victoria Strata Owners Association.
Name changed in September 1998 to reflect our goal of assisting all strata owners on Vancouver Island.
Two types of membership: Individual and Strata Corporation.
We have a Constitution and Bylaws with a Board of Directors consisting of 9
members.
Our services include:
5 seminars each year.
Bulletins published and mailed to all members 6 times each year.
Assistance with problems in response to telephone or email requests.
Visits to Strata Council meetings or General Strata meetings on request.
