Information for Pension Plan Members

What is a Pension?
A pension is a periodic series of payments, made under the terms of a pension plan or annuity, that continue for the life of a member or former member of the pension plan.

Most pensions are paid directly from a pension fund or as life annuities under an insurance contract with an insurance company.
