Information for Pension Plan Members

Old Age Security Offset
Some pension plans allow members to receive a higher pension payment until they start to receive the Old Age Security pension. Pension benefits you have earned since January 1, 1993 cannot be reduced by any amount being paid to you under the Old Age Security Act unless you choose this option at the time you retire.
