Canada Pension Plan Offset
Some pension plans allow members to receive a higher pension payment until they start to receive Canada Pension Plan benefits. Once you begin receiving payments under the Canada Pension Plan, your company pension benefits may be reduced by the amounts being paid to you under the Canada Pension Plan. The PBSA limits the amount by which your pension can be reduced.
