Instructions for using the fillable PDF forms
The Financial Institutions Commission now offers you the ability to complete and save an increasing number of forms directly on your computer.
When used with versions of Acrobat Reader 7 or higher, you may enter data in the form and save it, print it, or email it. Since data may be saved, you may complete part of the form, save it, and reopen it at a later date to modify or add to it. Earlier versions of Reader will only allow you to open, enter and print.
The latest version of Acrobat Reader is available as a free download from www.adobe.com.
Completing the Fillable Form
- Open the form and, if you wish to, click File/Save As to select a location on your computer to save the file. In some cases, your browser may require you to right clickon the link, then select "save link as" or "save target as" from the dropdown options.
- Click inside a form field and type the required text. Be sure to complete all applicable fields on the form.
- To accept your field entry and go to the next field, press the Tab key or use your mouse to click on the next form field.
- To accept your field entry and go to the previous field, press Shift + Tab on your keyboard or use your mouse to click on the previous form field.
- Print* the form after completing it so that you may sign it. Handwritten signatures are required on all forms.
*Important Notes about Printing:
- Prior to printing your form, make sure your cursor is not in an active field. Use your mouse to select an area of the form not inside a form field, or hit the tab key after completing your last entry. If a form field is active (e.g. contains the blinking bar) the contents of that block will not print.
